Q&A: Gaming Siamese Twins

October 11th, 2008 · No Comments

Someone forwarded me this post from a public forum, and I thought I would start a discussion here… I think this brings up some pretty profound philosophical questions.

Siamese Chicks!!! HELP!!!!!

Ok, so I meet two HB 8.5’s…they’re siamese. We met at a campus club, and they’re connected at the waist. Here’s the thing, I DHV’d Toward the Obsticle (the left side)whilst negging the target (right side) But the obsticle now likes me!!! Fuck!!!

SO I have a few questions: First of all, If I do hook up with them what does that count as, score-wise? 1 f-close or 2?

First of all, congratulations on being open enough to hit on Siamese twins, while also being picky enough to fine one of them unattractive. I mean, everybody has standards, right?

As for how this counts, score wise, I think it’s a bit of a philosophical question - you might even be having your first threesome! Personally, I would go by the number of vaginas involved. If she has two, you can put two notches on your bedpost (or maybe one big two-headed notch, like a Y), if there’s only one vagina, I’m afraid you can only add one notch. You could get two blowjobs though.

Regardless of how many notches it put on your bedpost, it would certainly  be a story to tell your friends!

Thoughts from Glasgow

October 7th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Cajun and I are just on our way out of Scotland, on our way for a surfing vacation in Ireland before we head to the Lovesystems/Mystery Method Corp. Superconference Oct 16th.

Glasgow has been a great experience. And I thought I’d pass on some things I’d noticed about Scotland.

1 - Bars and Clubs don’t seem to play that house music bullshit that has infected the rest of the world. I was pleased to see that Glasgow is a city where people actually DANCE to rock music.

2 - The girls in Glasgow were hotter than I expected… but my expectations were low. It probably helps that I like the rocker look, which 2/3rds of the women in Glasgow under the age of thirty are sporting.

3 - Scottish chavs are called neds (Non-educated Delinquents), and are much more rediculous than their American cousins, “white trash”. We sat behind a family of neds on the flight from Dublin, and they were hilarious and obnoxious. The best part was the 8 year old daughter of the family, who had a rediculous fake tan, complete with orange hands, and was talking about some contestant on X-factor (think American Idol) and how she would love to “do” him. Priceless….

4 - Flights in Europe are rediculously cheap… troublingly so. I don’t understand how you can keep an airplane from falling out of the sky when you’re charging 1 euro for a ticket. Also, flights are cheap enough that Neds can afford to travel. I prefer the days when air travel was a bastion of the privileged classes.

5 - Scottish women have a really odd, dry, sense of humor. They’ll make fun of you even if they like you, and you need to hit back. I got confused a few times, not knowing what was going on as scottish girls teased me. But if you give it back better than they can (and I can be as mean and sarcastic as anyone), you win.

Free Tenmagnet and Cajun Talk in Glasgow - Now only Ten pounds

October 1st, 2008 · No Comments

Hey guys,

Just wanted to announce that we’re changing things up for our talk that we’re giving in Glasgow.

We’re going to be getting a really sweet room at Arta on Albion Street, with a bartender and a sound system as well. But because of that, we’re going to have to ask for ten pounds, to cover the cost of the room and everything. Icedragon from the Scotland Lair is helping us organize this, and will be collecting the cover.

This is the first time we’ve charged for one of our lair talks, and it’s also the first time we’ve actually gotten a pimped-out place to give the talk in, so I’m looking forward to it. We’ll see if the audience is cool with paying a modest fee for a slightly nicer venue.

As always, Cajun and I are going to be giving 95% content, and 5% plugging our upcoming Glasgow bootcamp, and the Lovesystems Superconference. I’m going to talk about phone game and preventing flaking, and Cajun will be talking about inner game, which is one of his specialties. The guys at our last talk and Dublin all said they got a heck of a lot out of our presentation, and this one should be every bit as good.

So here are the details:

When: Thursday the 2nd of October, drinks and networking at 7pm, presentation starts at 8pm.

Where: Arta, 62 Albion Street, Merchant City, Glasgow

Who: Tenmagnet and Cajun, swashbuckling Canadian pickup arists guys.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Help send a poor young dating coach to the playboy mansion.

September 30th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I’m writing this on my blog because I have a very important request.

I need your help.

You see… Savoy told us earlier this month that the Platinum Level students at the upcoming LA Superconference get to go to the Playboy Mansion in LA.

But seats are limited, and that means that only a SELECT FEW instructors can teach at the Playboy Mansion.

That’s right.. just FOUR INSTRUCTORS get to go, and Savoy is deciding from all the interested instructors, which is pretty much everyone who works for the company.

Well, damn, I want to be one of the instructors.

That’s why I need your help.

I need all the viewers of my blog to go to Savoy’s blog post here, and tell Savoy that you want Tenmagnet to teach at the Playboy Mansion. Use swear words and threats as necessary. Whatever it takes, you know?

Here are the reasons I should be brought along to the Playboy Mansion.

1 - I am by far the coolest and best looking Lovesystems instructor.

2 - As of yet, I have dated a total of 0 Playboy models. This makes the company look bad, as I am by far the best looking Lovesystems instructor. Savoy needs to fix that to help the brand.

3 - I promise not to steal anything.

4 - Cajun can’t get in, since there’s a dress code :)

5 - I will whine and pout if I can’t go. A lot. I will be really annoying.

Anyway, if YOU are interested in attending the Superconference, which is bound to be an awesome event, check out our Lovesystems Superconference page. Tell them Tenmagnet sent you :)

Time to take your money out of the bank?

September 30th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Oh boy…

Just when you thought that you couldn’t fuck things up more, the US Congress has gone ahead and demonstrated that they really don’t have a clue what’s going on. This is really troubling.

I’m not troubled by the fact that the bailout package failed - it was a flawed bill, and there were good reasons to vote against it. Unfortunately, this package failed for the WRONG reasons.

The bailout package failed, not because it was flawed, but because more than half of congress doesn’t understand shit about finance and economics, and it’s those people who are running the show these days. If they had voted the package down over technical details, or because they wanted more oversight, I would understand - but they didn’t vote it down for that reason. They voted it down because they are unable or unwilling to understand the consequences of the impending crisis.

For example Representative Darrell Issa, a Republican from California, said to support the would be like placing “a coffin on top of Ronald Reagan’s coffin.” (What?) Or they’re against this bailout because their constituents don’t support it, which is also stupid because your average person can’t be expected to understand the significance of the problems the US economy is facing - this isn’t a simple problem that you can figure out by watching Fox News.

The US government needs to do something, not to bail out Wall Street, but to keep these credit problems from screwing up everyday life in America. We’re at a point where profitable factories are going to close because they can’t get the credit to buy their raw materials, one where you can’t buy (or sell) a car without $20,000 cash. Banks will go down left and right, wiping out people’s savings (only your first $100,000 in an account are protected) and crippling business.

Oh, and home prices will probably fall even further if that happens, which will compound the mortgage crisis and screw over everyday people even more.

A bailout isn’t about helping bank executives, or stockholders (though they may benefit), it’s about helping the innocent depositors, debtors and businesses that deal with the Banks. Yes, stockholders and executives may benefit, but government has to rescue the good with the bad. It’s as if we’re all on the Titanic, and the Republicans seem more concerned with ensuring the captain drowns than saving the ship.

It’s that kind of idiocy, more than any problem in the markets, that concerns me now.

Free dating talk in Glasgow, Scotland

September 29th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Cajun and I are in Dublin right now, checking out the sights, and trying not to drink too much, which is pretty hard in a city whose main tourist attraction is Guiness. We’re having a great time right now, and are looking forward to our next stop, which will be Glasgow.

Anyway, I’ve spoken to Icedragon over at the Scotland Lair, and it looks like things are good to go for a free talk in Gasgow this Thursday, just before our Glasgow Bootcamp starts. It promises to be a great event.

Here’s what one person said about the talk we did last week at Trinity College, in Dublin.

Well done to both Cajun and TenMagnet for giving an excellent talk to the Irish Lair.
We were all very, very impressed with both their communication style and the content of their talk.

It was definately on of the very best talks we had over the years.

Both TenMag & Cajun were very well recieved and were genuinely liked by all who attended as they are cool guys.

It is refreshing to meet stars from the community who are cool, normal and don’t act “weird”, gay or have raging egos!

Cajun’s talk in InnerGame was very revealing and if anyone every says that LoveSystems don’t teach innergame - Cajuns talk would shatter that lie as he seems to know more about innergame than most self-proclaimed “inner game gurus”.

Well done guys and thank you for giving a greate, insightful talk.
Everyone who attended can only have left with a very postive impression of LoveSystems.

JT
Right now the exact time and place isn’t finalized, but we should have something worked out by Wednesday, and it will be near the downtown. I’ll update the blog when we have the venue organized.

Hope to see you there!

How to piss off a Bartender in Dublin

September 27th, 2008 · No Comments

As a Canadian, one of my favorite things to do when I’m traveling is to act like a complete jerk, and then tell people that I’m American. I know it’s a pretty terrible thing to do, but I’m a bit of a nihilist, and kind of like contributing to Anti-American sentiments worldwide - if only just to stir the pot a bit.

Anyway, in the spirit of this game, I will introduce to you a 100%, guaranteed way to piss off a bartender in Dublin. It goes like this.

Bartender - What can I get you..

10Mag - I dunno.. do you have any local beers?

Bartender - Well, we have Guinness!

10Mag - No, I don’t want a Guinness… What’s that local beer you have… the dark one?

Bartender - Guinness!

10Mag - No, not that one… it’s really dark. I can get it at my bar back home.

Bartender - ??

10Mag - Heineken? Is that made in Dublin??

Then, continue to describe Guinness in as much detail as possible, all the while insisting that you’re NOT talking about Guinness. Eventually, give up and order a Corona, and then tell them how “we saved your ass in World War II”.

This joke was inspired by the Kids in the Hall skit below.

Cajun and Tenmagnet Free Talk in Dublin and Glasgow

September 23rd, 2008 · 4 Comments

Tenmagnet and Cajun in Dublin and Glasgow!

Tenmagnet and Cajun in Dublin and Glasgow!

Hey guys!

I just arrived in Dublin this morning, and wanted to make sure everyone knew that Cajun and I are going to be giving a FREE 1hr talk in both Dublin and Glasgow as part of our European tour.

Big thanks to the guys in the Irish Crew who helped arrange this!

The talk in Dublin will be at Trinity College’s GMB building, at 8pm on Thursday the 25th. I don’t have the actual street address and room number, but I’ll update this post when I have everything down. You can find a map of Trinity College here.

The talk in Glasgow is still being organized, but it will almost certainly be at 7-8pm on Thursday Oct 2nd. Keep checking back to this post for the details.

Also, Cajun and I are going to be in Ireland and the UK for the better part of the next month, travelling from town to town as tourists in between our bootcamps, and we’re going to be giving away FREE PICKUP ADVICE in exchange for beer.

So if you see one of these turkeys in a bar, buy them a drink and collect your free words of wisdom (quality NOT guaranteed, especially after 11pm).

Obligitory shot of us with women.

Inner Game - Turn off the Video Camera

September 4th, 2008 · 7 Comments

Ever wonder what people are thinking about you?

Have you ever seen a group of people chattering and laughing and maybe looking at you, and wonder if they’re talking about you? Then, do you wonder whether they’re saying good or bad things about you?

Are you ever talking to a woman, and you say something that could be interpreted the wrong way, and suddenly you feel really awkward and feel the need to explain yourself?

Well, here’s the deal…
